હિન્દી સિનેમામાં એરિક સેગલની લવ સ્ટોરી

વર્ષોથી સિનેમા અને સાહિત્યનો અનોખો નાતો રહ્યો છે. પ્રખ્યાત સાહિત્યકૃતિઓ પરથી ફિલ્મો બનાવવાનો જૂનો રિવાજ છે. વર્ષ ૧૯૭૦માં એરિક સેગલ નામનાં અમેરિકન લેખકનું પુસ્તક 'લવ સ્ટોરી' રજૂ થયેલું, જે એ વર્ષનાં સૌથી વધારે વેચાણ પામેલ પુસ્તકોમાં ટોચ પર હતું, એ પછી વર્ષો સુધી ઑલિવર અને  જેનિફરનો રોમાન્સ વિવિધ રીતે સિનેમા અને ટેલિવિઝનનાં માધ્યમથી દર્શાવવામાં આવ્યો છે... નવલકથાની વાર્તા સરળ અને ટૂંકી જ છે, પણ હું એ કહીશ નહીં, કારણ કે એ અનુભવવી એક અલગ વાત છે, માટે હું ફક્ત તેના પરથી બનેલ ફિલ્મોનાં નામ અને જે ફિલ્મોમાં નવલકથાનો ઉલ્લેખ થયો છે, તે અહીં મૂકી રહ્યો છું:
